Historical Newspaper Articles
Over the many, many years that Algester Little Athletics Centre has been providing family, fun and fitness, our thoughtful Committee members had been keeping copies of various newspaper articles relevant to our Centre and our athletes.
We discovered many of these articles during our working bee before the commencement of the 2017/18 season. Most of the articles are undated, but some that are go back as far as 1998 (and perhaps even further!)
Rather than keep them locked away (although we have certainly kept the originals) we thought that it would be great to share them with our members and friends - perhaps some of the people featured in the articles have children of their own competing in Little Athletics today.
